配合今日國防部記者會說明「國軍預防熱傷害應處作為」，國防部人事參謀次長室人事勤務處副處長方宗泰上校回覆媒體詢問時表示，三軍儀隊在中正紀念堂前民主大道實施禮兵交接及訓練展示任務中，一位合格的儀隊官兵在驗收時要完成1小時的耐熱訓練，每周基礎訓練也包含耐熱訓練，因此儀隊執勤沒有問題。
此外，外界關切繼中正紀念堂後，兩蔣慈湖、頭寮陵寢的儀隊駐防勤務會不會調整，方上校指出，中正紀念堂三軍儀隊的勤務調整，是與文化部研討後調整執勤方式與地點，慈湖、頭寮目前沒有調整的規劃。
